TWO BONAPARTE PEOPLE
DIE OF HEART DISEASETwo of the aged citizens of Bonaparte expired suddenly of heart trouble Easter Sunday afternoon.
The death of Mrs. Laura Henkle occurred about 4:30. She had been having considerable trouble with her heart for more than a month, but had been feeling about as usual recently. She had walked from the living room to the dining room, and was returning, when she fell and died almost instantly. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Collins and Mrs. Schneider of Chicago, and Mrs. Hines of Bonaparte. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the home.
Mr. L. W. Brattain, a Civil war veteran, who had lived in Bonaparte for several years, died suddenly at 6 o’clock without previous sickness or warning. He had lived at Pulaski and Farmington before going to Bonaparte, and we believe was a native of this county. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Guy Carr, who lives in Chicago.
