Former Keosauqua Physician Dies at Home of Daughter in Des Moines; Rites at Ottumwa.

Dr. C.R. Russell, former Keosauqua physician, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Otto Bitterlich in Des Moines Saturday night. He was 70 years old.

Dr. Russell began the practice of medicine in Ottumwa and later was in Keosauqua 38 years. He retired a year ago and moved to Des Moines.

Surviving are his wife, his daughter and a son, James Gordon of West Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held at the Lester Jay funeral home in Ottumwa at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
