Mrs. Elva Harryman of Douds Succumbs

Surviving Are Husband, 2 Sons, 7 Grandchildren; Burial as Leando Cemetery.
**Handwritten: July 1940

Mrs. Wade H. Harryman died at her home, three miles south of Douds, about 7:45 o'clock on Monday evening following an extended illness. She was 64 years old.

Mrs. Harryman was born north of Milton and spent most of her life in the Douds vicinity. She lived 40 years on the farm where she did.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Bruce of Douds and Cecil of Keosauqua; 7 grandchildren; 2 half-brothers and 5 half-sisters.

Funeral services were conducted at the Leando church at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon by the Rev. E.K. Parrott. Burial was at the Leando cemetery.

Singers at the funeral were: Mrs. Ernest Greenfield, Mrs. Mabel Finney, Mrs. Earl Greenfield, and Mrs. Mattie Nutt, with Mrs. Roscoe Pollock as accompanist.

The bearers were George Hissem, Weldon Hissem, Delber Plowman, Ed Elsensohn and Frank Plowman.
