Mrs. Mary Hewitt Dies in Michigan

Mrs. Henry Hewitt, who died at her farm near LeRoy, Mich. recently at the age of 59 years, was born near Douds. She attended the Keosauqua high school and taught in the Van Buren county schools until her marriage in 1901. Mr. and Mrs. Hewitt lived in Canada and Washington state ten years, then in Iowa two years before locating on a farm near Leroy 25 years ago.

Mrs. Hewitt is survived by her husband, a sister in Iowa City, a brother in Miami, Fla., two half-sisters and a half-brother living in the west. Burial was at the LeRoy cemetery.
