EARL LEWIS.

Earl Lewis, 65, of Ottumwa, died at 7:15 p.m. Friday at the Mt. Pleasant state hospital.

He was born January 1, 1884, at Leando, and had lived in Ottumwa until a few weeks ago. His wife, Mae Gilbert Lewis, preceded him in death in 1921.

Survivors include a daughter, Reba Lewis, Des Moines; and a brother, Eli Lewis, Selma, and two sisters, Elizabeth Lewis, Eldon, and Mrs. Hemm, Douds.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Carroll Reece funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Levi Goodwin, D.D., of Wesley Methodist church. Burial will be in White Elm cemetery at Selma.
