V.G. Warner, 72, Of Bloomfield Is Dead

BLOOMFIELD.-V.G. Warner, 72, died at 7 p.m. Friday in the Ottumwa hospital.

Operator of the Warner hatchery here, he was also secretary-treasurer of the Farm Loan association for Davis and Appanoose counties, with offices in Bloomfield.

From 1917 to 1937, Warner was superintendent of the poultry division of the Iowa State fair.

Survivors are his wife, Maude; a daughter, Mrs. Doran Good of Bloomfield; two brothers, Fred of Bloomfield and Otto of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Allie Downing of Dallas, Tex., three grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Curl funeral home, the Rev. Fred B. Sawyers in charge. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. cemetery.
