Services Wednesday For Anna Shaffer
**Handwritten: 1944Died Sunday Evening At Home of Daughter South of Douds; Survived by Three Children
Mrs. Anna Shaffer, 90, died Sunday evening December 26, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harvey Harryman, south of Douds. She had been in failing health for a number of years. Most of her life had been spent in the Douds community.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Leando church in charge of the Rev. E.K. Parrott. Burial will be in the Leando cemetery beside her husband.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. B.F. Nason, Miss Mae Shaffer and Mrs. Harvey Harryman all of Douds; two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Grimsley of Douds and Mrs. Eliza Parsons of Fairfield and one brother, Dr. Dave C Rambo of Ottumwa.
