John Strang Dies In Arizona
**Handwritten: July 28 1944Former Selma Resident Hand Been in West 2 Years; Leaves Wife and 4 Children.
John A. Strang died Friday at Phoenix, Ariz. where he had spent two years in the hop the change of climate would improve his health. He was about sixty years old. Before going to Phoenix he had made his home in Selma.
Funeral services and burial will be at Phoenix.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, and daughter, Hope, of Phoenix, and two sons and a daughter by a previous marriage. Doyle Strang of Douds, Joe of California and Mrs. June Roberts of Eldon.
His first wife died in 1916. His parents were the late Joseph and Mary Strang, long time residents of Selma. One sister, Mrs. Etta Salters, lives in Eldon.
