MRS. CLARENCE L. HALL
ELDON.-Mrs. Clarence L. Hall, 65, died at her home near Eldon at 4:40 p.m. Saturday of a heart ailment. She had been ill for a number of years but seriously ill only a few days.

She was Lelia Laura Lamberson, born September 9, 1883, in Greene, Iowa, the daughter of George and Emma West Lamberson. She was a graduate of the Greene high school and attended Upper Iowa university. She was a teacher in Butler and Bremer counties and after moving to Des Moines taught in the Highland Park vicinity. She was assistant to the Polk county superintendent of schools for several years. After moving to Fairfield in 1913 she assisted her mother in the Lamberson Pattern hat shop and taught school in Fairfield and Jefferson county. She was married at Fairfield January 22, 1919, to Clarence L. Hall and had since lived on a farm near Eldon. Later she taught in Wapello county several years.
Besides her husband she leaves a sister, Mrs. Dale Anderson of Fairfield; a brother, Fred W. Lamberson of Albert Lea, Minn., and a foster daughter, Mrs. C.R. Steward of Ft. Meade, Md.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Rupp funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Earl Erb of the Methodist church. Burial will be in the Eldon cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Goudy, James Acton, Charles Dahlgren, Harold Wilson, Frank Millard and Ira Israel.
