HENRY IRWIN WILEY
Henry Irwin Wiley, 63, former Birmingham resident, died of a heart attack Wednesday, Dec. 17, at a hospital at Glenwood, Mo. where he lived.
The Wiley family lived in the Charles Stebbins residence in Bonaparte for several years about 20 years ago when J.H. Wiley managed Grey Heath orchard north of Bonaparte and are remembered by the older residents.
Mr. Wiley was born near Birmingham Sept. 21, 1884, the son of J.H. and Elizabeth Wiley. He was not married. Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. S.R. Howard of Birmingham, Mrs. George Schwartz of Libertyville, Mrs. C.L. Leavitt of Mt. Zion and Mrs. Fred Williams of Douds, and four brothers, Charles of Chicago, William of St. Petersburg, Florida, Raymond of Daytona Beach, Florida and Kermit of Kissimmee, Florida. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry, and a sister, Elizabeth.
Funeral services were held in the Mt. Zion Presbyterian church Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. H.C. Irvine officiating. Burial was in the Forbes cemetery.
