MRS. J. FERGUSON TEAL
Annie Frances McCullough, daughter of David Coyle and Frances Rebecca McCullough, was born in Des Moines county near Danville, Iowa, June 19, 1861, and passed away in Fairfield, Nov. 19, 1947, at the age of 86 years and 5 months.
She was married at the home of her parents near Utica on January 28, 1886 to J. Ferguson Teal. They farmed near Stockport for many years, but retired and made their home in Fairfield. For some time of late they have made their home with their son Tom and his wife near Mt. Zion.
Besides her husband she is survived by three children, Don L. of Ottumwa, Mrs. Mary Hootman of Davenport, and Thomas F. of Keosauqua. There are also three grandchildren, Mrs. Lucille Fredericks, Virginia and Jack Hootman, all of Davenport; one sister, Mrs. Linn Knowles of Fairfield.
Mrs. Teal was a member of the Presbyterian church of Fairfield and active and interested in its work. She was also very active in everything that would help others until the increasing disabilities of her advanced age prevented her from engaging in the services to others that were dear to her heart.
