F.H. Schlarbaum of Birmingham Dies
Native of Canada, 59, Is Survived by Son and 4 Daughters; Burial at Trenton
Frank Henry Schlarbaum died at his home near Birmingham the afternoon of April 24 following a very brief illness.
Mr. Schlarbaum, who would have been 60 years old May 11, was born in Canada, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Schlarbaum. He is survived by a son Jack of Birmingham and four daughters, Mrs. Elsie Helmhout of Fairfield, Mrs. Ruth Countryman of Birmingham and Miss Lola Schlarbaum and Miss Velma Schlarbaum at home.
Funeral services were conducted at the Catcott funeral home in Birmingham at 10 o'clock Saturday morning by the Rev. J.C. Austin of Keosauqua. Singers were John Wilson, Merril Countryman, Lester McKee and Floyd Williams and Mrs. Lee Dustin was accompanist.
Burial was at the Green Mound cemetery at Trenton. The bearers were Robert Snyder, Dan Hoffman, Curtis Johnston, Fred Countryman, Glen Catcott and Walter Hootman.
