JOHN CRAWFORD

John Crawford, 64, son of John and Mary McWilliams Crawford, was born Nov. 20, 1885, on a farm near Fairfield and passed away at the farm home where he had lived for 13 years, located north of Stockport on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 1949, after an illness of three years.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; a daughter, Mrs. Lola Unkrich of Selma, and a son, Lyle Crawford of Birmingham; two granddaughters and one grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Lela Morgan of Downing, Mo., and Mrs. Florence Foster(??) of Goring, Mo., and a brother, Aven Crawford, of Downing, Mo. One brother, Ed Crawford, is dead.

Other survivors are a step-mother, Mrs. Anna Crawford, of Stockport; three step-brothers, N.E. Crawford and Roy Crawford of Stockport and Irvin Crawford of Florida; and two step-sisters, Mrs. Ray Webber and Mrs. Edna Morris, both of Stockport.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15 at the Catcott funeral home in Birmingham in charge of Rev. Lacy Thompson with burial in Evergreen cemetery at Fairfield.

The deceased was a member of the Methodist church.
