Margaret C. Lewandowski

MILTON - The funeral service for Margaret C. Lewandowski, 92, of Milton, who died Thursday, July 11, 1991, at Jefferson County Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua. The Rev. Carl Wilson will officiate.

Burial will be in Wolfe Cemetery southeast of Keosauqua. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday. A memorial has been established to Troy United Methodist Church.

Lewandowski was born March 17, 1909, at Azen, Mo., to Jacob and Minnie McDaniel Lorton. She married William Striker and after his death married Bud Lewandowski, who also preceded her in death.

She had been employed for 32 years as a supervisor at Wyandott Chemical Company in Wyandott, Mich. She moved to Fairfield in 1975 and to Milton in 1980. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wyandott.

Surviving are two brothers, Thomas Lorton of Milton and William Lorton of Pella. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Lorton; and two sisters, Alice Sauers and Ruth Lorton.
