Capt. J.M. Penny's Brother Dies

Samuel Penny, who had spent all of his 75 years in Stiles and vicinity, Davis county, Iowa, died suddenly on Friday evening, May 23, 1919. He was thought to be in his usual health until a few minutes before death called him. He served four years in the Civil War, and was a brother of Capt. J.M. Penny who also died suddenly at Douds. Samuel Penny leaves two sons and one daughter, all married. Burial was in the family lot in the Stiles cemetery.
