Lois M. Zierlein

Lois M. Zierlein, 74, 807 W. Briggs Ave., died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 1993, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. John Boatman officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery at Birmingham. Family visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the Iowa Heart Association.

Mrs. Zierlein was born June 2, 1918, in Beloit, Wis., the daughter of Walter E. and Jessie R. Robinson Weber. She married John Edward Zierlein on Nov. 21, 1956, in St. Louis. She had lived in Fairfield for six years and before that in Florissant, Mo. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband; a son, Robert Garbe of Lauderdhill, Fla.; a daughter, Sharon Riley of Fairfield; a stepdaughter, Debbie Lowe of Kingston, Ga.; and three grandchildren. Her parents, a stepfather and a stepmother preceded her in death.
