Glenn Snook

Glenn W. Snook, 49, 807 S. Sixth St., died at 7:15 a.m. Sunday at University Hospitals in Iowa City. He had been in failing health for several years.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald L. Hickman and the Rev. Loyd Osborn officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery near Douds. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials of donor's choice may be made.

Snook was born Nov. 1, 1932 in Fairfield, the son of Wilbur S. and Marjorie Greenfield Snook. On Nov. 29, 1968 he married Phyllis Osborn, who survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Glenda Kay Cook and Denise Ann Snook, both of Fairfield, and Wenday Sue Snook, at home; two stepchildren, David Fishel and Melinda Fishel, both of Fairfield; five grandchildren; one sister, Delores A. Carver of Mt. Pleasant and one brother, Ernest Snook of Texas.

Snook had worked as a factory foreman at J and B Plastics for 10 years and was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church.
