Joseph M. Hootman.

Joseph M. Hootman, aged 72, died June 11, 1912, after eight months sickness. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church near Mt. Zion Wednesday afternoon in charge of the pastor, Rev. L.T. Hughes. Mr. Hootman had been an elder in the church for fourteen years and had been a member of the same for 50 years.

His first wife was Mary Jane Ager and his second wife Elizabeth Jane Robinson. The children are as follows:-Mrs. S. Porter of Kilbourne, and Messrs. John J., W.C., Chester H., and Howard J. of Van Buren county, and C. Raymond of Keokuk.
