DIED: At his home near Lawn Ridge, Mo., April 19, 1890, Joseph Morgan. The deceased was born in Illinois, January 28, 1833. His parents moved to Scotland Co. Mo., in the year 1834 where he lived until he died. He was married to Susan Step in 1854 and to them was born twelve children nine of whom with the mother survive to mourn the loss of a devoted husband and a kind father. He united with the Congregational church in early life and lived a consistent member to the end. A large concourse of friends attended the funeral. Edl. T.A. Renfro, of Milton conducting the services.
