LELA MAY PITTMAN.

Lela May, daughter of Deputy Clerk of Court Edward F. and Effie Pittman, was born Apr. 28, 1903 and died at the home of her grandparents near Cantril Aug. 5. During these few weeks she was a comfort to the bereaved father and endeared herself to the hearts of the grandparents who cared for her so tenderly and faithfully. Funeral services were conducted at the Pittman home by Rev. George L. Minear. The little coffin in which lay the precious form was covered with flowers and tenderly borne to the cemetery and buried beside the recently made grave of the mother. Jesus said "Suffer the little children to come unto me."
