O mystery of life how great!
How great the mystery of death!
We live, we move, we see, we feel,
We're gone! 'Tis like a passing breath!O life! O death! Our faith how great!
That bids us look beyond, to see,
When this shor life shall all be o'er,
There'll be for us no mystery.**Handwritten at bottom: St. Line Dem. Wed. 11 Oct. 1905
