W. WILBERT WILSON
Wilcom Wilbert Wilson, son of William V. and Elizabeth Wilson, was born near Industry, Ill., Sept. 17, 1867. He was married to Sarah E. Garrison Sept. 17, 1890, of near Industry, Ill. To this union were born nine children, one daughter, Ruth, dying in infancy.
He is survived by his wife, eight children and 4 grandchildren, namely, Sarah E. Wilson, Blanche Pender, Fern Pender, Carl, Scott, Valasco, Eva Holmes, Lester and Merle; grand children, Paul, Lorene, Glen and Richard Wilson. One brother, Wesley and two sisters, Mary Pennington and Kate Chipman of near Industry, Ill.; one brother-in-law, Curg Greenup of Malcomb, Ill., a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and friends.
He accepted his Savior in the winter of 1890, joined the M.E. church of Story Chapel in 1911, transferred his membership to Bonaparte church in 1925.
He resided near Industry till Feb. 1905, when he, with his family, moved to their home near Alma, Neb., living there will(sp) December, 1906, residing there till January, 1909, when he, with his family, moved to their farm near Bonaparte, where he resided until three years ago, when on account of his health moved to his late home where he passed peacefully away to join his daughter, waiting in the Home Celestia.
He died Wednesday morning at 6:30 Sept. 1, 1926, aged 58 years, 11 months and 16 days. On Monday night, August 16, about 10 p.m. he suffered a severe stroke of paralysis. His sickness was of about two weeks duration, being in a semi-conscious state and unable to speak during the entire time.
Mr. Wilson had been a member of the Masonic Lodge for about thirty years, representatives of the Bonaparte Lodge attending the funeral services and officiating in burial service. He was also a member of the lodge of Mystic workers.
Funeral services were held from the M.E. church Friday afternoon at 1:30, conducted by Rev. Samp, assisted by Rev. Droz and Rev. Krotzer. Interment in Bonaparte cemetery. Sermon Text-Ecclesiastes 1:9.

Springer, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilson and children and Mrs. John Vicent and daughter, Reva, of Industry, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Wilson of Tennessee, Ill., Wesley W. wilson, and Mr. and Mrs. Dana Leighty of Vermont, Ill.; Mrs. Chas. McCutcheon and son Harry, and Lycurgus Greenup, of Macomb, Ill.; and Rufus Wilson and daughter, Susan, of Waukee, Iowa.
