MARY SHERMAN.

Mary Sherman was born in Vernon, Iowa, January 5th, 1860. At the age of two years she moved to Bonaparte, with her parents, where she lived until her marriage to Robert Perkins, which occurred Septembr(sp) 11th, 1879. To this union were born two children, Mrs. Ed. Story and Kirk A. At an early age she (u)nited with the M.E. church and continued to be a member of the same up to the time of her death which took place at her home, April 12, 1913, at the age of 53 years, 3 months and 7 days. She leaves her husband, two children, two grandchildren, also her mother, three brothers and two sisters, who have the sympahty of the whole community in their affliction. The funeral service took place at the home, Monday afternoon, Rev. Hughes officiating.
