Arthur Logan Finn, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Finn, near Bonaparte, was born near Galesburg, Jasper county, Iowa, May 13, 1888, and died ta the home of his parents July 14, 1905, at the age of 17 years, 2 months and 1 day. There were twelve children, three having died in infancy. The living were all present at the funeral. He had been ailing since February last but was not considered in danger until about a week before he passed away. He would often say to his mother he would not get well. He was a great favorite among his schoolmates, and highly esteemed by all who knew him. Services were held in Story Chapel M.E. church, Sunday, July 15, after which he was laid to rest in the Willits cemetery. He was followed to his last resting place by many sympathetic friends.
