Sarah Ann Miller, oldest daughter of William and Margaret Miller, was born in Harrisburg township, Van Buren county, Iowa, April 26, 1859. She united with the Baptist church at Bonaparte in early womanhood.

Feb. 11 1879, she was united in marriage with George Wesley Bennett and three years later they moved to the farm on which her death occurred early Tuesday morning, March 13, 1916, aged 56 years, 10 months, and 17 days.

To them were born four sons, Edward, Charles, George, Minor, all of whom are living and were present at the funeral services which were held at the late home on Wednesday with Rev. Peterson of Bonaparte in charge. Interment in the White cemetery near the home.

The husband, two brothers and eight grandchildren were are also left to mourn. The many friends extend heartfelt sympathy.
