Rev. T.S. Pool died on Thursday evening of last week at his home in Mt. Pleasant after an illness of about two weeks.

Rev. Pool preached for a number of years in Iowa conference, having been a member of that conference for twenty-seven years. Some of his appointments were in Van Buren county.

He and his family located in Mt. Pleasant in 1914 and had lived there continously since that time. He is survived by the following children: Rev. John W. Pool of Bloomfield; Rev. Robert D. Pool of Kingfisher, Okla.; Mrs. M.L. Poulter of Fairfield and Miss Lydia Pool, who has for many years beena missionary in India. His wife and one daughter Mrs. Mary Johnson, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at Mt. Pleasant M.E. church, Bishop Hughes in charge.
