Mary Jannetta Lowe, 85, of Arlington, Texas, died Saturday, August 5, 2000 in Fort Worth, Texas.

She was born April 5, 1915, to Jesse and Clara Hornbaker, and married Vorice C. Lowe on May 8, 1937. She worked at the IOP in Burlington, during World War II. She was a past member of the Eastern Star in Iowa.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Prewett of Arlington; one grandson; one sister, June Rice of Bonaparte; and one brother, Bruce Hornbaker of Sun City, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and one sister, Edith Mills.

A memorial service will be held in Bonaparte at a later date.

Wnscott Road Funeral Home, Benbrook, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.
