Mrs. Bena Perkins, wife of Allen Perkins, died at the home of her son Clyde M. Merideth, Wednesday, morning after an illness of several months. Mr. and Mrs. Perkins made their home in Kewanee, Ill., but in June Mrs. Perkins' health became so poor she came to Bonaparte and remained here until her death. She left to mourn four children, her husband and many relatives to mourn for her. She was a most patient, sweet and gentle character; a chrisitan in all her ways through . . . .(remainder of obit is missing)
