-Last week Mrs. Joseph Grimson, of near Bentonsport, went to Keokuk and entered a hospital to receive medical treatment of cancer. The surgical operation which was necessary was performed Saturday and resulted in death at 5:30 p.m. Sunday March 19. On Monday the bereaved husband, accompanied by N.G. Brown, went to Keokuk and returned on the evening train with the remains of his wife. Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Tuesday, Rec. C.S. McElhinny of Fairfield officiating. The body was interred in the Bentonsport cemetery.
