--Mrs Robert Cresswell died recently at her home in Ottumwa, aged 76. for a long series of years she resided with her husband at Bentonsport and on their farm a few miles south of Vernon. Later Mr. and Mrs. Cresswell moved to Ottumwa, where the husband died a couple of years ago. Mr. Cresswell will be well remembered as a merchant at Bentonsport. We did not learn the nature of Mrs. Cresswell's sickness, except that she had been in declining health for sometime. She was a good woman. The burial was at Ottumwa where her two sons reside.
