A very sad death occurred here on Monday morning, June 5, in the family of J.E. Stevens, the wife and mother being called away. The deceased is the oldest child of J.W. Scott and wife, and had been married to the sorrowing and bereaved husband about eighteen years. She leaves quite a large family of children who will greatly miss her care. It is understood she died of acuted miliary tuberculosis. The fueneral will be held on Wednesday, June, 7, at 2 o'clock . . (possibly more, but is missing)
