RIGLER, RITTER, KING

FREDERICK G. RIGLER.

Died at his home 2 1/2 miles west of Bonaparte, Saturdy, December 23, 1905, Fredric G. Rigler aged 74 years, 7 months and 7 days. Mr. Rigler was born in Rottingen, Germany, May 16, 1831. In October 1845 he came to Iowa with his parents and settled in Van Buren county where the remainder of his life was spent. He was married to Mary M. Ritter in Farmington, September 30, 1860, who preceded him in death March 24, 1902. Six children, four sons and two daughters, came to bless this union, viz: August, who died March 25, '76; Max, of Fairbanks, Alaska; Mrs. Rosa King, of Bonaparte, Iowa, Charles, of Pittsburg, Iowa, and Anna M., and George who are still at the parental home. Besides the five children who are left to mourn the death of the father are 3 grand children and one brother. He was esteemed by all who knew him and will be greatly missed in the community where he lived.
