-Miss Jessie Glasscock, of near Pierceville, Iowa, died at the family residence on Wednesday morning June 21, 1899, aged about seventeen years. She was the daughter of Eugene and Ellen Glasscock, and was ill only a short time with cerebro[sic] spinal meningitis which caused her death. Funeral services were held at the family residence on Friday morning, June 23, and the body was interred in the Bonaparte cemetery.
