Obituary.
Thomas Leo Morris was born at Bonaparte, Ia., Feb. 8, 1877 and died at Eldon, Ia., Feb. 22, 1907, being 30 years and 14 months old(??).
On Dec. 28, 1899 he was married to Nina E. Haywood at Bonaparte, Ia. To this union two children were born, Gretchen aged six years and Velda aged nine months.
He was a member of the Van Buren lodge No. 350, I.O.O.F. at Selma, of Celestial lodge, No. 413, A F and A M at Douds-Leando, and of Eldon camp, No. 553, M.W.A. at Eldon.
His mother was brought from Scotts Bluff, Ne., and interred in the Bonaparte cemetery on Nov. 27th last.
Besides his wife and children he leaves to mourn his loss, father, three brothers and one sister, and many warm friends.
The remains were brought to Bonaparte on Monday and placed in the family lot.
The high esteem in which he was held was manifested by the fact of his friends securing a special coach in which to accompany; by the large number of his fraternal brethern who came from Eldon, Selma and Douds-Leando and by the numbere who met and accompanied them to the cemetery at Bonaparte.
