Witt Funeral In Keosauqua

KEOSAUQUA - Jennie May Witt, 82, former resident of Van Buren County, died at 8:20 p.m. Monday at the Van Buren Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

Last rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with the Rev. James M. Ford officiating. Burial will be in the Fellows Cemetery in Keosauqua.

The daughter of Charles W. and Sarah A. Zachau Witt, she was born Nov. 16, 1890, near Pittsburg in Van Buren County before moving to Fairfield eight years ago. Her home was at 503 W. Jackson. She was a member of the Harrisburg Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Della Forbes and Mrs. Ada Warren, both of Keosauqua; five brothers, Samuel C., Billings, Mont.; Clarence, Keosauqua; Charlie, Douds; George S., Mountain Home, Ark.; and Allen, Fairfield.
