A deep cloud of sorrow lowered over this place Tuesday evening when word was passed around announcing the death of Mrs. Ethel Craig, wife of Dr. J.A. Craig. This news, sad as it it was, did not come as a shock, for it had been known that since Sunday she had been hovering between life and death. On that day, Sunday, it was found that a pelvic abscess demanded a second surgical operation, which was preformed, but from the effects she never fully rallied. A week ago it was thought she was on the sure road to recovery.

Ethel was a talented, loveable young woman, the on daughter of Rev. Chas. E. Perkins, pastor of the Congregational church, of this place. She was married to Dr. J.A. Craig June 4, 1902, and to them was born a little girl, now about a year and a half old. The sorrow of the husband, parents, brothers and sisters (is) shared by a host of friends.

It is probablye that funeral and burial services will be held on Friday, but the exact time had not been fixed at this writing, owing to the fact that it wass not then known definitely when to expect some distant members of the family.
