News was received here Wednesday by the Rev. C.L. Tennant, D.D., pastor of Grace M.E. church, of the death of the Rev. Wallace J. Pusey, a former minister of the Iowa conference.

Mr. Pusey was a missionary for five years in
South America, at Callao, Peru, where he was located with his family. He had but recently returned from there, when he started west to visit his sister, who is a missionary on the Crow Indian reservation in Montana. Word has been sent to his wife, who is visiting in Ohio, of the news of her husband's death in Montana, caused by pneumonia. The funeral will probably be held at Winfield, the old home of the deceased, the remains being shipped back there is received from Mrs. Pusey. The Rev. Mr. Pusey was known in Burlington, having among his friends Dr. Tennant, of Grace M.E. church, and the Rev. R.F. Hurlburt, D.D., pastor of the First M.E. church.
