Hiram Baker died Monday after noon at 4 o'clock at the residence of his son W.S. Baker, 918 North Ash street. Mr. Baker was 76 years of age, and had been a resident of this city thirteen years. Funeral services will be conducted from the residence Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. A.E. Craig, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church officiating. The remains will be taken to Bentonsport this afternoon on the Rock Island at 3:30 o'clock. Funeral services will be conducted from the Methodist church at that place Thursday afternoon.
