REBECCA MILLER WESTCOTT

Rebecca Miller was born Mary 5, 1812 at Cincinnati, Ohio and died December 10, 1902, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chas. Krenmeyre at Farmington, Ia., aged 90 years, 6 months and 10 days. She was married to Roads [probably Rhodes] Westcott in 1830. To this union was born ten children, of whom three survive her. Her husband died in 1863. They came to this state in 1840 and she was one of the oldest residents in Farmington. She leaves to mourn her loss two daughters, one son, one sister, seventeen grand children and thirteen great-grand children.

She united with the Congregational church in 1843 and remained a member until death, being the last but one of the original members of the Congregational church at this place.

Her funeral was held from the Congregational church last Friday after noon, conducted by Rev. J. H. Taylor, of the M. E. church.
