Death of Geo. Thompson.

George W. Thompson of Vernon Prairie died Sunday, Feb. 28, after a short illness. His wife and infant child died but a few weeks ago and he was so saddened and worried that when he took a severe cold a few days ago he failed to take proper care of himself soon developing pneumonia from which he died.

The funeral services were held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Story Chapel. Seven children survive him. - Bonaparte Record.
