F. Pauline Nixon

F. Pauline Nixon, 76, of Brighton and formerly of Bonaparte died at 7:17 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

The body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Fairfield Friends Church, with the Rev. Dave Elmore officiaiting. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.

Burial will be in Fellows Cemetery in Keosauqua at a later date.

Memorials to the family may be left at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua or mailed to the family at 404 S. Fourth St., Apt. 211, Fairfield 52556.

Mrs. Nixon was born July __, 1925, the daughter of Harry and Erlena Brown Hemm. She married Lonnie O. Nixon Oct. 17, 1950 in Keosauqua. He died Jan. 26, 1986.

She lived most of her life in Van Buren County and moved to Brighton in 1990.

Surviors include one son, Dest__ Nixon and his wife Theresa of Fairfield; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Dorothy Hemm; and one infant daughter, Colleen Nixon.
