Micheal Ray Anderson

Micheal Ray Anderson, 32, of Des Moines died Saturday evening, May 11, 2002, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines from injureis received in a hit and run accident 7 miles south of Melbourne on Iowa Highway 330, when the bike he was riding was hit by a truck.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham, with the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating.

Visitation will begin at noon Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham. A memorial has been established at the Iowa State Bank in Des Moine and may be mailed to the bank at 627 E. Locust St., Des Moines.

Mr. Anderson was born March 27, 1970, in Mount Ayr, the son of Beryl and Beverly Zigler Anderson.

He graduated from Dubuque High School and had been a lifetime resident of Des Moines.

Surviving are his father Beryl Anderson of Des Moines; his mother Beverly Russell of Sonora, Ky.; and three sisters, Rebecca Anderson and Peach Wise, both of Des Moines and Heather Anderson of Sonora, Ky.

**Grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Russell Zigler; Mason Anderson; Mrs. Leona MECK Anderson, who is my aunt.
