Edward Reddy Dead.

Edward Reddy died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Patrick McManus in Keokuk on Wednesday last and this announcement will bring to memory a man who in his fifteen year residence here installed himself in the hearts of our people by his upright manner of living.

It has been almost twenty years since Mr. Reddy left here, but he is as yet well remembered by a greater portion of our older inhabitants. He was employed here as section foreman on the old Des Moines Valley road. He never married and forethought in saving a portion of his earnings enabled him to pass the last quarter of his well spent life in ease. He was 72 years of age. Burial took place Friday.
