Wilford Cook rites Friday

Graveside services for Wilford Cook, 80, Route 2, Keosauqua, who died Wednesday morning at Nelson Nursing Home, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Friends Cemetery in Richland with the Rev. Gary Douglas officiating. The family will received friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Raymond Funeral Home. Memorials have been established to the Diabetes Association and to the Heart Fund.

Cook was born June 30, 1906 near Richland, the son of Raymond and Stella Reighard Cook. A retired farmer, he grew up and attended school in the Richland area, lived in The Fairfield for a number of years, and moved to Stockport area in 1961. He married Eula Nordyke Aug. 28, 1926 at Bloomfield. She survives.

Also surviving are a son, Jerry Cook, St. Peters, Mo.; a grandson and a granddaughter; a brother, Wilbur, and a sister, Wilda Smith, both of Fairfield.
