Death of Leo Syfert
We are very sorry to report the death of Leo Syfert, which occurred shortly afternoon last Monday, in the Jefferson County hospital in Fairfield. He had been seriously ill for a number of weeks with pneumonia following the influenza, had made a brave fight for life, but was too weak to overcome the disease. He was a member of the S. A. T. C. of Parsons college and contracted the disease while in the service, this being the fourth death in this company from the influenza. He is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Syfert, south of Winchester, a graduate of Birmingham high school, and a young man highly respected in this community. The parents and relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of their friends in their sore bereavement.
