Helen H. Williams

On June 11, 1915, Mrs. Helen H. Williams died at her home in Birmingham, Iowa, at the age of 23 years, 2 months and 28 days. Her maiden name was Helen H. Workman, her parents being Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Workamn. She was born on the parental farm near Winchester. On January 7, 1914, she became the wife of Ora O. Williams, who grew to manhood near the home of his bride. To them one child, a little girl Cecil, now nine months old, was born. Along with the father she survives, and she will be a comfort for him in his bereavement. She also leaves her parents, four brothers and three sisters to mourn for her. Helen was a lovable girl and a devoted wife and mother. Everybody who knew her liked her. Her kind nature and jovial disposition brought sunshine and cheer to all with whom she was associated. She will be sadly missed in the home and in society, as well. Funeral services were held in the Birmingham M.E. church, Sunday afternoon, June 13, Rev. Crowther in charge of the services. Burial was in the cemetery in the eastern part of town.
