MARJORIE N. NESBITT

Marjorie Norris Nesbitt, daughter of Dr. Wm. Pitt and Mary E. Norris, was born in Birmingham, Iowa, May 9, 1882 and passed away at Mercy hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Nov. 14, 1944.

She had made her home in Kansas City of late, but had recently gone to the home of her brother, John and wife of Cedar Rapids.

Her early life was spent in the vicinity of Birmingham. After the death of her father in 1909 she located to Minnesota with her mother and two brothers, where later she was united in marriage with Henry H. Nesbitt of Duluth.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband, younger brother, Eugene Field Norris and her brother-in-law, A.V. Buck.

Those surviving are her sisters, Mrs. Ivy E. Buck of Renton, Wash., Mr. J.F. Calhoun of Eldon, and Mrs. Fred Bauman of Birmingham, and her brother, John N. Norris of Cedar Rapids.

The funeral service was held in the Catcott funeral home Nov. 15 with the Rev. H.C. Irvine officiating, with burial in Maple Hill cemetery.
