Services Tomorrow in Agency
For The Mother, Mrs. Courtney

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Agency Methodist for Mrs. Anna Nordgren, 77, who passed away suddenly at 11:30 p.m. Thursday at her home in Agency. She is the mother of Mrs. Clarence Courtney of 302 E. Madison St.

Mrs. Nordgren was the wife of Gust Nordgren of Agency and was the daughter og John and Johanna Johnston. She born June 19, 1866 in Smoland, Sweden, came to the United States when she was 20 years old and settled in Axtel, Neb. She had lived in Wapello county for the past 52 years. She would have celebrated her 53rd wedding anniversary on September 25, 1943.

Besides her daughter of this city, she is survived by her husband, one son, Arnold of South Bend, Ind.; and another daughter Mrs. Maude Fredericks at home. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and one nephew, Arnold Linquist of Sacramento, Calif.
