Saturday, 2 July 1955Snowden O. Fisher Dies In Michigan
BIRMINGHAM, Ia.---Snowden O. Fisher, former resident of the Birmingham and Fairfield communities, died last night in a hospital in Lansing, Mich. He had been ill for about a year and last fall went to Lansing to make his home with his daughters, Mrs. Robert Harris and Mrs. Robert Smock. A grtndson[sic] also survives.
The body will be at the Burch-Catcott funeral home and friends can call there for information about the services.
Note: His tombstone has “Snoden”, probably an etching error, all records that have been found list him as “Snowden” and Evergreen cemetery records show the plot was sold to “Snowden Fischer”
