L. Maxine Gaeth

L. Maxine Gaeth, 80, of Logan Apartements, died at 6:10 p.m. Friday, March 18, 1994, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

The body was cremated. A graveside service was conducted at 2 p.m. today at Sunnyside Cemetery at Milton with the Rev. Kim Eanes officiating. A memorial has been established to Van Buren County Public Health Nursing Service.

Mrs. Gaeth was born April 8, 1913, near Milton, the daughter of George and Elsie Osborne Dille. She practiced nursing in California, Colorado and Georgia, retired to Milton in 1975 and moved to Fairfield in 1992.

Surviving are two daughters, Vickie Day of Dallas, Ga., Jan Rust of Lake Oswego, Ore.; four sons, Chuck Ross of Orange, Calif., Jim Ross of Des Moines, Steve Robertson of Parker, Colo., John Ross of Denver, Colo.; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A daughter, Jo Anne Ainsworth, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
